Yellow stumper

Post by kHT »

We got this yellow calla lilie at Home Depot last year because DH couldn't pass it up. He wanted to plant it in the ground but I told him it was like the black one and needed to be potted for a while. Well this year, look what it's doing?? It sits within an area where it's possible it could get to much water and rose food feeding as it's surrounded by roses. The first bloom was breath taking and huge, now this one is well out of wack!

huge - a brilliant yellow color. You photographed it well. OC's purple one didn't make it this year so he is looking for great things next year. Froze over Easter and burned up while OC was on vacation. In the next several weeks, he is moving, with the help of his helpers all the plants on his deck out into the yard. It is just too hot up there anymore. Seems to get worse each summer. OC is going to have them re-planted out in the yard where they will get some shade and yet he can still water them....Sure going to be a new year next year. OC has no idea what, except his hostas that he water ever day it doesn't' rain, will do OC crossing his fingers for next year
