This particular lily is always a favorite here at the nursery. The first year I saw it in catalogs I thought for sure the picture was doctored, but nope, it really is that amazing :D

I read somewhere that it got its name from a Dutch pastry that is a pink frosting and a cream filling, called a Tom Pouce. We would call the same thing a Napoleon.

I really like that one ,heres mine called "Satisfaction" 9 inches from tip to tip. Note the quarter on lower petal.

That's gorgeous too. Tom Pouce is a huge bloom too. I love the thick, study petals. You would almost think they were silk flowers.

I SO wanted to buy the Tom Pounce Lilly when Hallson's had it, but I know I don't have a good sunny spot for it. It really caught my eye every time I saw the photo. Not to mention it's probably scented, and I can't have that. :(
