Thank you. My cousin (his granddaughter) just was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at 32 years old. She has a very rough road ahead. We are trying to get some of grandpa's lilies planted so that they will bloom in the spring for her garden. I'd like some for my own, too!

Hi Kelly,
Some places will sell lilies in the fall and others will have them in the spring. Either way you should be able to get some flowers next summer. Like I mentioned to you on the phone we will start taking spring lily orders in late December or early January and then we'll start shipping at the end of March. Hopefully we'll have a few that you are looking for.
And maybe nanny56 can help tell you where she purchased this one.
You should also contact the lily society that your grandpa helped to start up north. They may be able to steer you towards sellers of his lilies.
Good luck!
Chris

Oh what a beautiful Lillly. And you know that this is OC's favorite plant and forum. After a long wet spring, ours are finally blooming. What is amazing is, that they have not been touched in four years. OC had planted them the fall before he ended up in a wheelchair, and now can only look at them through the window or from our new deck. Seems like only yesterday that OC had a hundred of them blooming on it, but the deck rotted and was replaced this spring. Every time OC goes out on it, he misses them. Thanks for posting one beautiful Lilly

Thank you OC! It was your photos of your beautiful lilies that inspired me to start growing lilies. I have lost a lot due to getting bulbs that had a virus....but I still have enough!
