Audrey, there are a lot of variables on these. We have a deep purple one and this year it is white, it is one of our crosses. We also noted that if they are moved and buried deeper it will take a year or two before they bloom. Love the light pink and light does play into these. I have a deep purple that is in a huge pot, it stated leafing out in the greenhouse and
the leaves are paler this year than years past. Our weather has been so strange, they are up already and some are blooming, usually these are late June bloomers. We have learned on these the deeper the color the more light they require. Bill has a great variety of colors!! He has inspired us to add more!!

Thanks -- I like this color too! This plant is much nicer now than what it was from the florist. lol! It's definitely making me like calla lilies! I'd love one like Bill's w/ the spotted leaves and yellow flowers. :)

They now have giant Callas that can be well over 4 to 5 foot with the flower spike hitting 6 foot. Yes it really depends on the variety.
Our common white stays small about 2 foot but I have a few that top 4 foot, I believe it has to do where they are planted?

Pia, it depends on what we plant. I make sure that they are double the seed size in depth when planting or I just dig a hole and drop the
whole seed pod in if I'm in a hurry. It will take a couple years before you see a bloom from seeds.

Here is our 'Eclipse' which started to grow in the greenhouse and was over a foot tall before moving her out. The blooms fade as they age.

Thank you Bill, I measured this one and the leaves 30 1/2" and blooms at 32".

Okay Thy, do they have solid or speckled leaves?? I have the white in two sizes, some 2 1/2 footer and the tall ones that are close to 4 foot, they both
have solid leaves. Just wait, more to come!!

Newest addition, our front walkway is now 3/4th full of the colorful callas!! I also noted that the ones we posted has just
one seedpod as they fade and the leaves turn yellow in this heat.

Thanks Bill and will do!! A month ago I found last years pods and planted them. I noted today when watering that I see signs of new leaves popping up. The ones I
planted two years ago now, one bloomed and I dug it up and took it to my moms so she could enjoy the plant. Can't wait for the others to bloom.

From what I have watched, cutting the flowers may not allow more to bloom. They send up so many blooms and that is it.
These are my DH favorite flowers and when I cut the white ones he is shocked that more don't bloom. I have also noted
that some of the colored ones only send up a max of 4 to 6 blooms from what we are seeing here.

Bill, do you cut yours back when they are done to have them return in the fall. We can do this to the white ones that bloom early and
sometimes we can get them to bloom again. Not all the time but it's worth a try.
