Ha! My silver leaved Cyclamen coum made babies, and they look like Mama! Can you see them in the left hand corner of this photo?

Here are a bunch of Cyclamen coum babies I started from seed early last year, they haven't bloomed yet but they sure look healthy, don't they? Can't wait to see their flowers :)

Doris, I just love those pics of the blooms in snow!!! What wonderful pics. Thanks for that wintertime excitement.

Andi, where did you find seed and when did you start them? They look like they are happy.

The snow has melted. Look at the C. coum today! One clump is in full bloom. And look at this close up of a flower I found in the garden. Not a great picture, but you get the idea. Cool coloring!

I scored big time yesterday! Found a really nice sized cyclamen coum var. caucasicum that had totally silvered leaves in full bloom for $3.95.
One nursery, from the same grower, had them for 4.95, the next had it for 5.95. Found that the feed store not only has a better selection of plants, but the prices are much better, also! :D

Good deal Kellie - We're going shopping in April, right?

I got my C. coum seeds from the NARGS (North Am. Rock Garden Society) seed exchange. Membership is about $25 a year, but I find it's well worth it just to be able to participate in their huge seed exchange every year. You can usually get some pretty amazing stuff through NARGS.

Those are cool! I like the thin silver heart shaped markings on the green leaves. They sure look happy. :)
