OC doesn't know if thag is a multicolor plant or several growing together. He has several more and as soon as he can talk joy into going OUT THERE with him, he'll get her to l,ook and see. She won't let me get in the beds anymore.

OC's shade bed plants

Post by oldcoot »

You saw the bedding plants on OC 's deck, had someone come and plant them for him watered them and then it turned off DRY and WINDy, not all that hot but the wind was something else.

The Good Lord watered them a tittle bit Friday Morning, and evening, but gave them a real bath Saturday afternoon and evening.

Went out Saturday afternoon before the showers started and took these pictures. Made in FULL SHADE, 08-55mm kit kens, some hand held, some with the tripod. WITH A PoLARIZER filter to saturate and accentuate the red. Edited in PS EL-3...Getting pretty comfortable with it, learning something new about it every time he uses it. Tried lightening and darkening the picture, but more light ruined the way it actually looked so, OC left it a little bit dark.Be sure to click on the pictures to enlarge and then on the x for a full screen shot.

After all, it was in full shade, under trees no less.........Enjoy,,OC

Having the Minolta

Post by oldcoot »

before OC got the Canon, sure shortened his learning curve. If the Minolta would have taken extra lenses, he would have never traded. And yes OC is enjoying his new equipment,. OC

Doing real well in the shade bed now that they are getting a little water. Joy sits up on the deck and watches OCto make sure he DOES NOT get off his scooer, but since she let him start doing that everything looks so much more alive. Especially the Hosta. OC
