Shade Garden pretties :)

Post by doublemom2 »

Oh, it's a fun year in the shady garden! Things just seem to be doing really well this year, even though we had a harder than normal winter and nearly 40 days and 40 nights of solid rain, enough to make even the fish in my pond feel a bit too wet!!!

This sure brightens up a dark area, and it looks like a golden waterfall :)

This photo isn't quite in focus, but it shows well enough the variegation on this epimedium.

This one has exceptionally gorgeous foliage, the leaves get HUGE and look good through the whole season.

Well, I'd have to categorize all your beauties as fish then! Be/c they certainly appear to love the rain! Love you garden pics!

Very nice Andi! The Epimedium x 'Asiatic hybrid' flowers appear larger than I would have thought. Have you put your order in yet this year? I'm afraid I went a bit berserk, but next spring should be nice.
