Does anyone have a suggestion for a flowering vine I can use in my wooded garden.

I am in Zone 5/6 in Connecticut, the areas is light shade, some dappled sun in the afternoon. I'd love honeysuckle or clematis but don't know if it is too dark for them.

Perennial would be best but am happy to work with annuals too.

I'm not sure if this is the type of thing ou are looking for, but it is what I am going to be planting this year in a partly sun partly dappled shade spot.... Lonicera sempervirens

Check the thread 3 or 4 down on the VINES forum - called "Can anyone help with the name of this honeysuckle?" for a photo of the one I had last year that I never got into the ground. It is looking pretty dead right now (in the pot) and if it is, I will be looking to replace it.

Another possibility is Sweet Autumn clematis - but that one can be a beast with self-seeding, etc.
