Too late to start seeds?

I don't know if anyone is checking in over on this side but I thought I'd ask this question here anyways.

I picked up a bunch of seeds this winter (most here at Hallsons) but never got a chance to sow them. Is it too late to start them now. They've been stored in a dark and dry closet all winter.

I've started hosta seeds this late, and the seedlings had no problems overwintering in the open ground. But I'd do is asap!

Hi,

I always have a lot of seed left over from the winter and personally this is the best chance I get to start seed - because I can sow it outdoors and let mother nature take over.

For me I just find a good open spot in the garden and plant out rows or groups, lightly covering the seed. Then label the spots, water in good, and let them do their thing.

Lots easier than planting indoors :)
