Hosta seeds

OK, I've collected my seed pods and I'm having trouble determining which seed is good and which is not. I understand that the plump seeds are good, but plump is a broad word. I have some seeds that don't look plump but when I put them between my thumb and first finger, I can feel the seed. Should I assume the seed is good. Any help Please. :?:

Hi,

I try to feel the seed for the little bump. If you can feel that then they are usually viable. If you feel around and they just feel flat then they probably won't sprout.

This year I seem to have an amazing crop of plantaginea seed. REALLY plump seeds like I've never seen before. Will be fun to start some :)

My work list for tomorrow includes collecting seed to offer on the forum again, so watch for my list in a few days.

Have fun starting seeds this winter!

Chris

So....when does the send exchange/purchase usually get started?

I'm looking for something more interesting than what I have - which isn't actually anything.
