I am starting to drool over plants I want. so I will start a list of things I must have.


#1. Monte Carlo Tulips

Oh my gawd, I saw these in a paitients room the other day. Theya re double yellow flowers and smell SOOO good. i've never had a tulip grab my attention like that before. Imagine if in the spring I had a whole bed full of them underplanting my perrenial beds. I think I would be in heaven then. I've never wanted a tulip so badly before. I must find a source for them.

2) Illini Hardy ( Plant Patent #8333 )

Illini Hardy blackberry is an erect, thorny variety that is vigorous and quite winter hardy. Illini Hardy yields an excellent crop of shiny black, medium-sized, flavorful berries. Plants are thorny, 5-6 feet tall, sucker mainly from the base, and are resistant to Phytophthora root rot. This variety is highly recommended for the home gardener. Grows best in zones 5-8.
