I got bit by that gardening bug late in '05 when I stumbled upon the Hallson Gardens website. Well my interest in hosta really "bloomed" and now I am officially addicted. I also enjoy shade gardening and woodland plants. Some of my favorites include epimedium, helleborus, tiarella, pulmonaria and arisaemas.
I work in Detroit for a civil rights organization as a graphic designer and I live in Brighton, Michigan with four furkids:
Neko Marie-Female Silver Tabby Maine Coon (April 17, 2006)
Boo Radley-Male Orange/White DSH (Sept. 09, 2006)
Buddy-Male Buff/Orange (Sept. 01, 2009)
Nelson-Golden Doodle (November 01, 2010
Kirby-Golden Doodle (August 21, 2011)

Great list
Didn't knew you was new to gardening...can't tell that from your postings on the hosta forum they all seems to be very serious to me
I have learned more about gadening here, than from 30 years reading books and trying things myself
You just fit in perfectly

I can see from the dates on your hosta list that you certainly did get the hosta bug! Nothing wrong with that. I don't recall if you have ever posted pics of your furkids in the Pet Forum? If you haven't , please do so. I'd love to see them. And if you have posted them, then please post some more. We love new pics!!
OH WOW
And you just started last SUMMER. Congratulations. Wish OC had that much space, butg have it pretty well filled now. At 74 having to slow on planting anything new...John, that Old Coot.
There may be snow in the garden, but there will always be eternal springtime in the heart of this old gardner - Saying of Old Coot

Hi John, good to see you up and posting again. We sure missed you! I know I ran out of space last year and have everything crammed, but I still keep buying more plants I think I have an addiction that's for sure. I planted some liliums last fall for the first time so looking forward to swapping some pics with you. Take care.
