Hi all! Im a newbie to this forum, but a long time lurker. I am a Mother of two adult children and a Grandma to three Beautifull grandchildren Two Girls and One Boy.
I have been married for going on 25 years this year.
I live in Moline, Better known as part of the Quad Cities,Illinois. I have always loved Gardening and my Mom says "That's because your Great Grandpa was a gardener and had many Greenhouses".
Wish I could have known him.
My interest are Gardening of course, Sewing,Decorating,and anything that the Grandkids are into at the time.
My name "Lizabug" was given to me by a neighbor boy who could not pronounce Elizabeth. So I have been blessed with this name since childhood.
I will post my Hosta list in a few days,as I don't have time right now.

Hi, lizabug
Just read your journal, and wanted to say hello and welcome to the forum. I'm just upriver from you, a few miles east of Clinton. I've met Patsue, who lives in the QC, and quite a few of the other Iowa and Illinois members. I've been trying to find sometime to host a Hallson's get-together here, but am not sure that I'll be able to do it this year. If I work it out, I'll post it on the garden bench.
