Muddy fingernails is planting hostas in the pouring rain

Post by Muddy fingernails »

My neighbors now think I have gone around the bend: ( ':-?' )
( ':-?' )planting more hostas in the pouring rain.
Here is the list of August/Sept acquisitions:
***********************************
Whirlwind
Ginko Craig
Twilight
Jimmy Crack Corn
Lemon Delight
Sherbourne Profusion
Antioch
Ani Machi
Delta Dawn
Heart Broken
Rock Island Line (my new favorite small hosta)
Sagae ( I wanted one ever since I saw Tigger's garden pictures)
Blue Cadet
Climax
Veronica Lake
*****************************************
I think we may have four more weeks of planting, although the Farmer's Almanac says otherise.

Everything in the garden looks happy except the Pineapple Upside down Cake, which looks too "loose" and floppy to me.

Waving at you from the garden, soaked and muddy but happy!
