This hosta leaf is smooth not bumpie. My sister gave this too me about 5 years ago and it was all yellow/gold. Last summer it started this coloration.

I hate to say it, but that just doesn't look good. The blue is too uneven to look like a sport, and especially if it wasn't there before. Hold it up to the light and see if there is a zig zag pattern around the blue portions. If so that is the color bleed that we see often with HVX.
Sure you hacve done it before, but I have not seen your post
