Darwin Plants strikes again! Hosta 'Venucosa', high in HVX

Post by Chris_W »

Brian and I have destroyed a lot of plants today. This was one of them.

Hosta 'Venucosa' from Darwin Plants has a high concentration of the virus. We won't waste our money on testing, we are just going to destroy them.

First flush looked a little like frost damage but the second flush of foliage looks just as bad.

Do you think we will get a credit for these? I guess we'll have to see.

That really makes you sick to see those plants. Sorry you're having to destroy so many , Chris. Must be hard to do. :(
