Weird leaves on Snow Flakes

Post by Linda P »

There are 3 old leaves on my Snow Flakes that have this. I'm hoping it's just frost damage, because the new leaves look okay. Any ideas what it could be?

Weird leaves on Snow Flakes, Chris?

Post by Linda P »

Bumping this up..anyone have any ideas? I don't know whether to go out and dig the plant up and toss it (which would make me very sad) or to just take these leaves off and watch it. Watcha think, Chris?

Hi Linda,

Sorry, I didn't see this before.

Is there surface damage to the back of the leaves? If the back also looks funny then I think you are right it is probably frost damage. And since this is just on the oldest leaves that's probably what it is anyway. Doesn't look like virus to me.

I would just watch it, but if it was mine I wouldn't be worrying.

Thanks, Chris. It does go through to the back of the leaves. I guess we're all a little paranoid these days, eh?
I will keep an eye on it, but I won't worry so much!
Thanks again!
