Baby Bunting with HVX

Post by Chris_W »

Purchased these in 2004 from Darwin Plants in Holland. I also bought some in 2003 that never showed symptoms. Unfortunately I sold 4 plants from this batch last year at the nursery before putting them in quarantine. I sold about 15 plants from the 2003 batch and will get samples from that batch tested next week.

Baby Bunting has been added to the list.

Oh UGH Chris! I am so sorry!

I actually was going to ask you what the virus looked like in blue plants. I spotted a whole tray of Pacific Blue Edger at Wally World about a week ago that looked just like the photos you posted. I guess this answered my question :(

Thanks for all your efforts to educate us...

Goodness! That's hideous looking!! I'm so sorry , Chris, that you keep finding infected plants in your stock. Hopefully all the bad ones will get weeded out soon. :(

I sent a sample of this plant to the Univ. of Minn for testing and it came back positive for HVX, so that's definitely what we are seeing here.
