I think this may be HVX...
A friend bought this hosta earlier this spring. It had some name like Ghost Spirit or something and the leaves had this streaky-ness to the coloration. This summer it put up two new leaves that look nothing like the ealier ones. It is not a sport, but coming from the sole crown. After looking at some info on HVX here I think the streakiness on this hosta may be the virus and for some reason the new leaves aren't infected yet. What do you hosta experts think?
