Virus on Honeysongs???

Post by Nathalie23 »

Hi Chris!

Since the beginning of the season, I found my Honeysongs bumpy. I take a close look of the foliage, and it seems like my old Gold Standard. Does it have the virus? Thanks for your generosity in helping us identifying the virus! :D :D :D

Close up of a leaf. When the sun is behind the leaf, darker green appear in spots through the leaf.

Hi Nathalie,

Yes, it does look like HVX. I can see some darker, zig-zag mottling that follow some of the veins and if you can see darker patches when you hold it up to the light this helps to confirm it.

The green is also kind of dull colored for Honeysong, which HVX can do to the plant too.

Sometimes it is hard to see but this looks like it :(
