Hadspen blue - HVX?

Post by sugar »

I have been worried for some time about the colours of this (young) Hadspen blue leaf

Any suggestions?

This one looks okay for me. I have this pattern often in autumn on various varieties (esp. Tardianas) that tend to send up late leaves (Halcyon, Camelot, Hypoleuca Maekawa). Seems to me they don't have "the power" to send the nutrients into the blade. Any other ideas?

Hi,

I agree completely with planwerk. Nothing to worry about with this kind of coloration on any new leaves.
