I have had this hosta for a few years iv just noticed some odd leaf patterns do you think this plant is virused?

Welcome to the forums but I'm sorry to say that yes, that is hosta virus x. You have mottling, color changes radiating out from the veins, and leaf distortion and collapsing tissue. Dig it up along with as much of the roots as possible and put it into a big black trash bag and throw it away. Then dig out as much of the surrounding soil as you can to try and get all of the remaining virus potential out of that soil area as any tiny bit of root debris can still carry the virus for years in that spot. Spread that soil out in your lawn or put it somewhere that you will never grow another hosta, then refill with fresh soil.
