Apple green with HVX?

Post by chriskay »

Noticed this one in one of my Hosta beds this morning and it sure looks like ink spotting to me?

Sorry, but again you have another plant with HVX. At this point you know you have it in the garden so make sure to clean your tools regularly (disinfecting wipes are great), wash your hands, and avoid cutting down the garden or moving plants until after a good freeze in the fall when the chances of transferring HVX to healthy plants is diminished. You might also want to flag these HVX plants now and dig out completely in the fall if they are near other plants.

Again I am sorry to see it, however you will feel much better once they are gone.
