The hellebore season is starting here in a really big way. I finally brought home the 40 or so hellebores that DorisJ babysat for me for the last few years and got them planted. The ones that overwintered in the greenhouse have been moved outside and the ones that were planted in 2007 are starting to bloom.
I really did not realize that I had so many doubles and anemones or so many different colors of everything. Red, yellow, black, slate, peach, white, picotee... Pictures will be forthcoming as things open and as I get more comfortable with this camera. One of my most favorites is a coral/peach single with bloom stalks as big around as my thumb
I'm almost afraid to start counting.................
So it begins
So it begins
Every day a new adventure!
