Oh I do love hellebore ... a side effect of shade gardening. :D They are beautiful kHT, thanks for sharing !

I'm in 7a, not far off from your zone, but mine are still under snow and I don't expect them to wake up for at least another month. Yours do seem to be a bit early. My pics from last year are all dated April.

None the less, they are one of the finest jewels of early spring. :D

Best,
Ludi
The only thing two Gardeners will ever agree on is what the other is doing wrong.

You won't know how to grow a plant successfully until you've killed it a few times.

Thanks Ludi! We have had a high pressure sitting off the coast for a couple weeks now so
yes it's so early, most of my photos from last year state the end of March. I am loving the
early spring as I was going stir crazy inside.

Beautiful collection! We divided a ton of different mature clumps last fall and I really hope they bloom that nicely this spring. Thanks for sharing these - man it makes me thankful that spring isn't really that far away

Chris the high pressure sitting off the coastal line is really screwing up our weather here. Hardly any snow on Mt. Hood and keeping us so dry the bark is laying flat
on the garden beds and it's hard to stir it up. This is the first year I have had to do so as it's so hard, it's like a fried crust on the top. The first of Febr. we got caught
up on rain and were between 200 to 300% but the last 19 days, bone dry until yesterday light sprinkles. Way to warm!! Glad you enjoyed them. We took some seeds
that were a few years old and tossed them out in around the strawberry bed. I have always been told that they won't germinate if they were old, well we have plenty
now! Spring has sprung here but our last date of frost is April 15 so I know not to start dragging out plants just yet.
