Mardis Gras!!!

I love this one!! All of the colors are mixed together on each leaf. I keep trying for a good close-up of an individual leaf, but haven't gotten one in focus yet. I'll keep trying though.

It was just as well that I didn't get a good close-up the day I took the pic cuz the colors changed & intensified on that leaf in just a couple of days. :o

The area at the left toward the front of the leaf that is predominantly peach-colored now was all a darker green just a few days before. AMAZING!! This is definitely one of my favorite Heucheras. And I think it is looking better this spring than it ever has in the past. :P

I picked up Mardi Gras in February at the NW Garden Show in Seattle. I've had my eye on it for several years, since I saw it in a display garden at the National Hosta Convention. The coloring is fantastic on this one, and a camera just can't do it justice. I do a littl happy dance out in the garden every time I see it :)

I got this pic a bit ago. I like that it shows (mostly) the colors of this heuchera.
