I am going to add more heucheras this year and I always like to plant things that keep my 100+ hummers happy and I don't have to make quite as much solution. I go thru half a gallon early summer or up to a gallon at the height of the fall migration. It keeps me busy but I love them so much. The hostas are a good source of nectar too.
For some reason I can't remember seeing them going to my coral bells last year, but I don't have a very good memory either

They love the pink or red colored ones. Florist's Choice is one of their favorites here, so was Fireworks when we had that one.
So if you are going to plant some more Heuchera pick ones with great flowers

I have watched them feed on the white and ivory flowered ones as well.

My hummers hit any of my Heuchera, but yeah, I probably would try for the reddest flowers!
A gallon??? Wow!!!

I was thrilled to see a ruby hummingbird among my Heuchera... And the definite favorite was the intensely-red 'Firefly'. Hope he tells his friends!

I have never seen one on any of mine. Now those humming bird moths love them

Yesterday there was a hummer visiting Green Spice and was within arms distance of me. Came back multilple times.
Wish I'd had my camera!
