Heuchera with virus or mites?

I visited several garden centers yesterday, and noticed a couple were selling Heuchera 'Beauty Color' having small and misshapen leaves, with messed up colour patterns and yellow streaks. Can mites or pesticides cause such symptoms, or could this be a virus infection?
