Just got JADE GLOSS (photos added)

Post by caliloo »

Hey all!

I am on vacation with the family and managed to sneak off to a garden center. I picked up JADE GLOSS as a memento. Anyone growing it? I really love the foliage and will post photos when I can find a faster connection. It is PAINFULLY slow here LOL!

Hi Alexa,

I've grown Jade Gloss for years and it is a really good grower and a very nice plant. Martha Oliver's plants tend to do much better for us here than those from Terra Nova. At the old place we could grow just about any heuchera we tried, but something about the soil conditions here at the new place have not been as forgiving when it comes to Heuchera... Last year we planted $3000 worth of Heuchera from Terra Nova and I have one variety that survived the winter, even though all of them grew last summer, and all were planted in the same location. Frosted Violet and Jade Gloss are doing fantastic in the same spot. Caramel is also growing really well there.

Enjoy!
