I keep reading references in Gardening magazines to this Dutch Plantsman and designer. Has anyone read him and which of his books have you found the most helpfull?

Easy for you to say, Victoria, steeped in knowledge as you appear to be!! :) My "book" has not been written yet but will probably be called " How the slugs were victorious!".

Now that that title has been taken I have no choice but to use "Garden Centers: How a fool and his money are soon parted!"
Unless the titles: "If it looks like I know what I am doing then why do you keep asking?" and "Beginner's Plant Torchure Made Easy" and "Insects, Gardens and Throwing your Money Away in a Hurry" are all been used up.

How about "Lifestyles of the Plant Obsessed"? Or

The Laggard's Garden
Dollar Bill Fertilizer, or How to Plow the Buck
Buy It, Plant It, Kill It!
Many a great tune has been played on an older fiddle.
