Growing control

Hi,
I need some help with my new bamboo growe.I have got Phyllostachys Aureosulcata division from a buddy of mine.I will position it by the edge of my yard near the bricks wall fence. I don't need bad situations with my neighbors and I decided to put rhizome barrier in the ground. Area covered with bamboo will be aproximatelly 10 ft by 6 ft.I think about PVC material for the floor covering, about 2mm thick with one glossy side.How deep to put this in to the ground.Does anybody have some experience with that kind of plastic material?
