Here is my Karly Rose already has feathery flower spikes on her. Love that Grass- and the second Photo is of my poor little Gold Bar grass-planted last spring-very slow grower and finally my Rigoletto

Re: Karley Rose
I love Pennistum Karley Rose too! It faithfully starts putting up plumes in June and won't stop until frost. It is also a top seller here at the nursery, for good reason
Miscanthus Gold Bar was a failure for me. It was really slow, then the 2nd winter they all bit the dust after a typical zone 5 winter.
I've never grown Rigoletto but it looks like a nice variegated Miscanthus
Thanks for sharing!

Re: Karley Rose
Thanks-Rigoletto has been a great success for me-I think I'll move the Gold Bar to a more well draining soil area and see what happens. If it bites the dust I'll find something else for the area. Maybe I'll try Zebra Grass.
