Cannot get recipient username to stay in PM

I have tried a dozen ways to get the recipient's username in the PM. Every time I submit, I get an error message saying there is no recipient.
I've searched the name and checked the box and select and the username shows up but as soon as I submit it is gone and get error message.
I've tried to reply to an earlier PM message with same result. I've tried to send PM by going to a recent post and click on send person a PM.
I've tried IE and Foxfire and same result.


What am I doing wrong??

Hi Pandora,

When you put the person's name in you then have to click on the "Add" button. You can add multiple usernames in case you want to send the same message to multiple people.

So type in their name, then click "Add".

Chris, thanks that helped. I was not clicking the "Add" button in the right sequence. It worked once, so hopefully I can remember for next time. lol
