That trumpet vines take 6 years to bloom one they are planted?? Had an older gentleman come in to work yesterday and make that statement. Never heard that before and we all kind of wondered if it was true. Figgered someone here would know the answer! (No sucking up emoticon??)

Is it true??

Mine didn't! It was barely a half-dead twig when I planted it, it took 2 years to get a little growth, the WHAM, it took off, grows like the dickens and blooms it's head off. If it had been a decent plant to start with, I'm sure it would have bloomed the next year.
