A RED-PETIOLED STREAK ??
I can't remember having one before--but I have two right now, and the red is strong. I thought those characteristics were on the same chromosome....

Red
I have some red in a few seedlings. Below is a Swoosh seedling.
I checked half of my streaked trays and found I have red in Breeders Choice, Sea Prize, Bravo, William Lachman, a number of Swooshes and assorted mix seedlings. Overall in six trays of more mature seedlings I found 23 with very nice red in the petiole.
Makes you wonder if its common or my streaked are feeling very red being in Badger country.

Red in the petioles
Do you know the pollen parents? That would help.

I don't have any streakers but have red petioles on some of my plain hosta kids. The ones that I know of are from Yellow Splash Rim seeds OP and Wolverine seeds also OP.
I don't know anything about what comes from who but did the red come from the mom's on these???????? (I got the seeds from a seed trade)

Re: Red
I took a quick look at the one s you listed, and I didn't see any mention of red petioles. We used to have a searchable database, where you could type in the feature(s) you were interested in and it would sort accordingly, but I don't see it now.wzbt03 wrote:I have some red in a few seedlings.
