Snowing in Boston today!
April 4th, and we are having snow flurries today. It’s cold and nasty out but at least it makes everything look SO beautiful. I took these pictures at 5:00 pm today.
FRONT OF THE HOUSE
FRONT CORNER OF HOUSE. NOT FINSHED YET.
BACK YARD OFF DECK.
BACK LEDGE BEHIND HOUSE. THIS IS STILL WILD. I'LL BEGIN THIS LAST. THIS HILL INSPIRED ME TO GO JAPANESE.
Happy Spring,
J

Bonjour Nathalie,
You’re definitely getting more snow than we are. It finally stopped down here. I hope the same for you. We love to go camping up in Vermont near the Canadian border. It snowed on us once in October. Mannnnnnnn…that was a cold night.
Warm weather is on the way!

WOW!!! That's a lot of snow Nathalie. It's been sunny down here, but still cold. I wish old man winter came when he was supposed to. I'm going to work in the yard today and freeze my tail off. I even saw a groundhog (woodchuck) looking a little confused Saturday.

Ah yes, the Spring of my discontent. Or is it heartbreak ?
A week ago my garden was beautiful, the maples bursting forth in their glory. Then several record breaking nights in the 20's...now...all is crap !

Wondering what the recovery time will be for the maples ?
I'm assuming they will drop the new growth and start again ?
This is a new expierience for me !
