Hi,
How has everyones summer been?
I am looking for a certain kind of Weeping Cherry Tree that is NOT grafted. You know…the kind that is upwards of 30 feet tall. I came across this old thread from 05, and I thought it was pretty interesting. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these old school cherry trees.

I found some seedlings on e-bay.

Do you think these are what I’m looking for? Or is there a nursery you know of where I can order from?

I don’t know, but the more research I do on Prunus subhirtella 'Pendula', it seams that they have always been grafted and there is no such thing as a non-grafted one. What did they do in Japan hundreds of years ago, did they graft them too?
It doesn’t really matter, I’m just curious at this point. Yesterday I found a beautiful 6-foot Prunus subhertella 'Snofozam Pendula'. It’s a smaller white cultavar that will fit perfectly as the centerpiece in my backyard.
