Today I received my new Cryptomeria japonica radicans. I bought twelve raging from 12 to 18 inches tall. This was the first time I’ve ordered off the internet. I bought them from Wayside Gardens and I’m surprisingly happy with these beautiful little guys.
My baby trees were delivered today:)

Thanks George. Yeah...they seam very healthy. I'll try to plant them this weekend. I think I'll need to stake them with a thin piece of bamboo. I want to make a screen on the hill behind our house. Hopefully it will work.

Hi Mr Hanami
I dont know if al Cryptos are the same but mine changes colour dramatically this time of year.Turning a kind of orange brown TThe firs tme this happened I almost threw it away but luckily I kept it and in Feb or March the following spring it amazed me by turning bright green It never lost a leaf but simply changed colour.
I can recomend these as easy bonsai subjects also
Regards Brian
