Very pretty! I think my camera is broke Either that, or I no longer can control the shakes! I can't get anyone/thing in focus, and I"m so sad!
Dh is upset with me, b/c I let the milkweed grow through the lower deck! Whatever! Here's why! Your before pic to you post!

Cool Jane!! I have had a bad time the last couple days trying to get pics. My vertigo has been bad yesterday and today. They just don't get it sometimes, do they!!

Re: Monarch Butterfly
Claudia and Jane! We have a couple of Monarch caterpillars on our milkweed this year. DH accidentally brought one in the house on his clothes. He put him back safe and sound.

Re: Monarch Butterfly
Well, my dh would return them to, but until he saw all the catepillars and now the monarchs, he didn't believe me that it's the only plant they lay eggs on. NOW he's a believer and is enjoying the fruits!

Re: Monarch Butterfly
Jane. The reason we have patches of milkweed is because DH wanted to let some grow for the Monarchs.

Re: Monarch Butterfly
Oh yes, me too. He just hates them growing up through that section of deck. It's only about 1' off the ground level and so they grow up through it and I let them till the frost. Whatever you know? We never use this deck.....except for his griling stuff!
