Caught this big guy rubbing the velvet from his antlers this morning. It looks a little gross but I guess it doesn't hurt them.
We've spotted several bucks in woods next door, one was a 10 pointer

wow nice catch
i would imagine it's all itchy and 'hurkles' (hurts and tickles at the same time) kinda like a loose tooth that you just want to pull out!

Very cool catch!! We rarely see bucks around. Usually during hunting season when it seems all the deer come into our community(I counted 35 deer in 2007 on opening day from my front window!) and during rut in December. The dog and I must walk only in the yard after dark since the deer are popping out of the woods everywhere at that time!
