Hey Lynn
that plants is even nicer than last year. i am looking forward to seeing it .i wonder how big it will end up to be. congratulations on such a nice seedling. take care Bryan
I agree that I'd want in on that gorgeous plant no matter what the name, but some of Chris's suggestions were wonderful. 'Crashing Waves' stuck in my head for some reason.
The website that I work for was named when the creators randomly approached a dozen or so people at a conference and asked them to remember three different names they'd picked out for the site. The following day, they went back and quizzed the same people. The name that everyone remembered (and it was the same name across the board) is the one they chose for the site. Maybe that's not such a bad way to give a hosta a memorable name, either.
Hi everyone. I've been really busy lately getting ready for the season. Quiet Waters is doing really great this year! I don't have a camera handy, but it still looks the same...just with more of it. I'll keep you updated when there's anything new. As for the name, it's already registered, so that as they say is that. Thanks for all the nice comments.
Whew! With the long silence, I thought it had turned to mush over the winter. So happy it is doing well. Wouldn't a piece of that set the First Look auction on a wild ride!

Ann, it is very slow, so OS divisions will be a very long time coming and there is a very long line up for them!
When I know what I have decided to do I will let the Hallson members know before I tell anyone else. I'm thinking about making it available to Canadians first since we never get any hostas first. Haven't decided on that one though. It's doing well, so hopefully I have time to decide what I'm going to do.
Looking forward to the photos! Glad it is stable and performing well for you, hope you'll get it registered and eventually (perhaps through a vendor) make it available. Congratulations on a lovely and unique hosta!
Holy Crow, that is one 'Spicy' hosta! Just Gorgeous!!! So please add my name to the already lo-o-ng list of folks who are drooling over this Hosta and want one!!!! ( As you can see I've posted twice this is a spectacular Hosta. I found it in the Jounal and went a little balistic.)
