It reminded me too of H. Quiet Waters.

Re: Wally's Bullfrog
Would this be considered a double margin or a two-toned center?
Don, would this be another "list" group? Like Wally's Bullfrog, Quiet Waters, Royal Tiara/Royal Wave. There must be others out there - I was thinking Striptease variants but they don't fit this "look".

I forget who I originally heard it from, but I've heard this central pattern called "feathers".

That pattern is very hard to reproduce in tissue culture. I heard that there are very high numbers of culls as they grow on, even after they've been sent out from the labs to grow on. Wally's Bullfrog may no longer exist...I'm not sure. Hopefully someone has it somewhere.

Linda, think you are just telling me what I do not want to know
Sure they have to be careful not to loose the entire plant
I just want a tiny, tiny bid of one

Re: Wally's Bullfrog
Wally's Bullfrog still exists and is in a few gardens (both in the U.S. and Europe). It's a slow grower and isn't currently available.
Quiet Waters is a slow grower also...and I have my doubts that it will ever be successfully produced by tc.

Yes, Quiet Waters still exists And you may be right Don... It may never be successfully tc'd. Not sure when or if I will ever try it again. If you want to see it, you will have to come here and visit my gardens. I love to have garden visitors!
Wally's Bullfrog does look somewhat like 'Quiet Waters' though. Sure are nice plants!

Thanks Don! I'm glad to know it's still around. Lynn, I sure hope I can come to visit your garden one day! Gotta remeber to get my passport updated and get one for the old man.

Lynn - how far are you from London? I might play hookie from the handbell festival next May to some see your garden if it's close enough.
