H. 'Dee's Golden Jewel'
'Dee's Golden Jewel' is from Kevin Walek (1996). It measures 18 x 24" with 30" flower scapes. A leaf is 6-1/2 x 8", dull yellow-gold on top with a glaucous bloom underneath, and rugose. The leaf is lightly cupped and broadly ovate with a cordate base. It has an upright habit and the flowers are near-white and tubular. The plant grows slowly and is stoloniferous. Its ancestry is 'Royal Standard' x 'Galaxy'. Medium large. Mine originated as a yellow reversion from my ‘Jewel of the Nile’ and it was separated from JotN in September 2012.

The division of the yellow from my 'Jewel of the Nile' yielded several good divisions. I am growing two and I offered several up to plant sales. This is the larger of the two I am growing, photographed on July 8.

2015 - July 3. This division is now in near full sun due to the loss of a tree. It did very well until part way through July, but got crispy in August.
2015 - Aug. 2 - this division in the back yard gets less sun and looked good right through the season.

2017 update. I don't seem to have posted a 2016 picture. This one continues to look good in the garden. In 2018, though it's not as yellow. This photo July 19, 2017.
