I got my box mailed today, & it's headed East & a little South. Would have liked to sent bigger plants, but with the ground so wet, it was too hard digging in the mud, so I had to settle for some of my smaller plants.

I'm so happy, I got in on this one! I updated my list tonight. I hadn't kept it up like I thought I had, so it was hard figuring out what had died & what the new ones I've bought are, but I think I got it done!

I've printed my tradee's list out & will check it tomorrow & hopefully get the box sent too.

I love secret trades!

Well folks I just have to take a minute to let my poor secret trade know that they are going to have to wait :( But... it will be worth it! I promise! I don't have anything that I can send from my garden so I gotta go shopping! All the Hosta my trade will get will come directly from Hallson :D I just gotta find the time between packing (I am in the middle of moving) to get out there and pick them  Sorry I just could not resist the trade, my new house has nothing in it yet, but the yard is amazing and the beds are prepped and ready! priorities ya know ... So be patient people south of Michigan, whom ever you may be

Well...have everything ready to go. Will box it up in the morning over coffee and head to the post office - first thing!

Maybe it'll get there Tuesday, who knows???

I'm doing the Happy Hosta Dance today... Received 6, yes, 6 nice plants from renaldo75. He sent me 'Green Lama', 'Maraschino Cherry', 'Green With Envy', 'Striker', 'White Wall Tires', & Lakeside Spellbinder. He also sent a nice letter with information about each of them. They are soaking, getting rehydrated from their trip & I'll be potting them up later.
I went on a bus trip with the CIHS (Central Illinois Hosta Society) & we went to Klehm's & the Flower Factory... I spent way too much money, but got some neat hosta & then I was concerned that I might have gotten some that my secret sender might send me, but renaldo75 did good. He didn't send any I had & replace 2 that I had lost.
Whoopeee!!!
Thanks so much for the nice hosta renaldo75 & to grdnkd for hosting the Secret Trade.

I had an oops moment. When I got back from the post office I found I forgot to put in one of the hosta. I will remail it. So my secret trader gets two mailings. LOL Keep an eye out. First box should be there today or tomorrow.

I am the lucky one that received 2 mailings. The hosta she forgot to put in the first mailing was 'Golden Oriole.' She was kind enough to share her favorite with me. It was wrapped very carefully and arrived in good condition. Thank you, Linda.

Hello all!

Sorry I did not get this posted Friday, our move has my weekends packed (pun intended :P ) and I did not have a chance to post before today  Sorry!!!!!

Sounds like everyone is pleased :D I am not quite sure who is happier, we should do a poll, the senders or the receivers

I got out to Hallson and got my shopping done on Friday ( nothing like waiting until the last day  ) Chris sent out my choices, I hope the person that gets them will be happy, it is so hard to choose for someone else! especially when they have so many! I can't wait to hear!!!

When I got home there was a box waiting for me on the porch! YEAH!!!! What FUN! I got 6, yes 6! wonderful Hosta from DBoweMD, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! He sent me:

Abby- love the heart shaped leaves
Alligator Shoes-I almost bought while I was shopping, just beautiful!
Lemon Delight-great color, nice wavy leaf
Limey Lisa-what a cutie, love the color.
Blue Arrow- another I almost bought, trying to bulid up my blues and this is one with a great leaf shape and good color.
Zodiac-Great plant, I am looking forward to watching its colors change

Plus, he sent me 6 wonderful tags with inscriptions and holders! I hit the jackpot! :D All got potted up that day and are doing great! I can't wait to finish this move and get the new gardens started!

A BIG HUGE Thanks to all who make this possible!

Mari,
I'm so glad they made it OK!
Now you have hostas to help with the A to Z challenge with Abby and Zodiac. This is where you make sure you have every alphabet letter covered in your collection.
If you see those blue tags in anyone's garden, you'll know they came from me.
The tag on a looped wire is a little bit like what Peter Ruh does, but his are stiff metal and about 20 times bigger so you don't have to reach down to ground level. Mine you can usually push all the way down to ground level.
