Leeches! Eeeewwwwww...
Is there a way to get rid of them in the pond without doing harm to other life forms...like me?
Many a great tune has been played on an older fiddle.

I've been wondering if salt would shrivel them up like it does slugs. They sure are a pain to get off. I always heard to burn them with a cigarette. Tried that ONCE when I smoked and dern near burned my foot off cause the little cuss kept sliding to a new spot. My foot looked like it had the measels from that cigarette. the last time I got a bunch of them when we cleared (by hand) a lot of cattails from around my buddies pond. I couda slid home I had so many of those little goobers on me. The really big ones make dandy bait for juggin.
