Endless Summer Hydrangea & Clem question

Hydrangea is planted in from of the clem. Will the aluminum phosphate needed for the blue blooms affect the clem??

I haven't done any expiments with clems and PH, but I don't think they are affected to much by high or low PH.
Then again I could be......er........aahhh.....wrong :eek: . JEEZE! I hate saying that! :lol: :lol: :lol: :wink:

We were just talking about lime and bone meal at one of the site I get emails from that make the hydranges turn. But ya know I have them within a few feet and clay soil. Funny one is pink the other is blue in the same area? Go figure that out. As for the clemmie, depends on the variety, some are really touchy!

But they do prefere a tad low in ph...can't see any problem, just remember to plant clems deeeeeeep
