Talk about hostas, hostas, and more hostas! Companion plant topics should be posted in the Shade Garden forum.

If you have a "haves" list but have no "wants" list....would you please have mercy on folks and create one?
There are some folks who have such extensive lists, it's pretty daunting to try to figure out what kind of things they might like!
If you can't name specific plants, perhaps you could specify if you like large...gold...minis...blues...etc..
Thanks a million!

I'm not able to do the trade this time, but I agree, those have lists are a bit daunting! My eyes blur halfway through, lol.
By the way, how do you get that link at the bottom of your posts for your lists?

Try this (these are the directions I followed...although reading them now...I think I had to experiment a tad to figure it out before it worked
):
Enclose the first part in brackets followed by My Hosta List with no spaces, then enclose /url in brackets leaving no spaces.

/url
Put it in your the signature line box in your Profile.

The only other thing you have to do, Spider, is to change the two number sequences to 397432 or you will be linking to Andrea's hosta list.

Thanks, I'm working on it.
edit: I just remembered the "Test" portion of the forum and went there. Someone had asked the question and someone else posted an answer. That one worked. Thank you guys for the help! Hallson's forums rule!
I thought I had looked everywhere, lol.

Thanks Patrushka! You can see why you had to tutor ME in the first place!

OK, I posted a hosta wish list. I have zero idea how to make it show up in my posts. But maybe that's OK - it's so long and probably so unrealistic that it's best if no one ever actually looks at it.

I have my list up and a wish list as well. I really would like anything. Duplicates are fine as well.
My wish list includes some more rare hostas, but also some more common hastas as well. Seedlings would be great too.

I think a really important thing in your "want" list is to specify whether or not you have room for larger hostas. If you have a small yard, you wouldn't want to end up with three "Sum and Substance" sports.
(I don't have this problem, but then again, I'm not doing the trade this Summer...all of my hostas need some time to grow)

I updated my list from recent memory but should really get it better. I added a wish list at the bottom, in the member journals section.

I made a list on my web page, along with a note to my trader. I'm not worried about what I get. I'll be happy with anything. It's just fun to get a surprise package in the mail (that isn't ticking)!

Thanks! I finally figured out how to get my list link posted, after a couple of tries.
