I planted seeds from my Frosty Pink cross last November and today the first flower has opened. It only has four "petals".
Does anybody know if this is this unusual?

I don't know what the technical term is for flowers with joined petals like brugs, but on looking at many photos and all the other brugs I have, brugs normally have 5 co-joined petals making up the flower.

Gruntfuttock, usually 5 but sometimes 6. You might want to submit that to ABADS for their gallery of different ones?

I'd wait to see it is just that one flower as sometimes happens; I'd be surprised if this was not just a one-time thing.
