Sorry I Have Been Gone

this past year. 2023 I would pop in a couple times a month. 2024 was the year I had both knees replaced so I
haven't been here for the past year to check in. Then in Jan of this year, our 13 1/2 year old Sable from my profile
photo passed away. We knew here that life was just not full without an animal so we went looking for a new fur baby.
We were lucky enough to get a fur baby from the same breeder, only she is full pom! I would like to introduce our newest
member of our family. Onyx Star.......

It's nice to see SOME signs of life still to the forum but the reality is that when you look at when the last posts were made in most forums there's a good indicator of how the traffic to the site has fallen off the cliff. Sad to see really, but time marches on, we find different ways of communicating ( I REFUSE to do Facebook or any other anti-social media myself) and we do stay connected somehow, just not the way we did 15-20 years ago. Time marches on, I do check back here from time-to-time but it's naught but a reminder that most have migrated elsewhere and as much as it pains me to say it, I suspect these forums will disappear sooner rather than later.... C'est la vie!

Hey Pieter! Glad to see someone is still coming to visit. I'm not to keen on social media but it's a way to stay connected with some of the folks. I'm given up all the gardening sites but here, I just miss folks here. Everyone was so friendly and fun! I'll keep checking in as we are starting to garden here! Hug the furbabies.
