:D I love the candy collection and my favorite is 'Strawberry Candy', and 'Elegant Candy'. I'll be planting many more this year, and hope to have many more pictures of all my new ones.

Mike,
That clump of S. Jim Cooper is breathtaking!
You do take great pictures.

How about a spider DL now.

Here is Purple Many Faces. For some reason I kept thinking it was a tet and kept trying to pollinate it. Two seed pods formed, but not on ones that I had pollinated ... imagine that!

I gave those PMF x Unknown away ....
Close to PMF is a large unknown red dip and Fairy Tale Pink.

I sat here for a while trying to figure out the blue background of this picture. It is my picture and no way did I have that blue sky or background .... the blue is my blue Delphiniums.

Oh, PMF has a very high bud count, it did bloom very nicely for me last summer.

Another favorite, BALI WATERCOLOR, Stamile. This spider is pod fertile, very hard to come by in tet spiders.

This was brand new last year - FREEWHELLIN' - Stamile. I can't remember if I got a pod or not but do know the pollen is good.

The picture doesn't give a good representation of just how big the bloom is - probably around 10" or so.

This is RUBY SPIDER - Stamile. This is an unusual form not a true spider, spatulate I believe.

RS has good pollen but can't get a pod on it.

So sorry to take so long answering your question on Jim's Pick. It's a Dormant Diploid, has a heavy bud count is large-flowered (about 6 inches or more depending on the season) ...
Wild is the hybridizer (1971) and it is about 34 inches tall and is an Early Mid-season bloomer.
PS: here's another photo ...

The photos are so lovely!
I have three inches of snow EVERYWHERE ... and a terribly gray day ... love to see something with color and sunshine in it!
More, More.
Here's a couple more of my non-dragons.

I know this was named for a member of the hybridizer's family ... however, my husband is related to the 1940s-50s popular singer MaryAnn Mercer and I had to have this one.

The last time I started a converstion with hag, let's just say it didn't end well

I really like how the edge color deepens outward at the edge.

I received this as a gift for placing an order. It is definitely a "keeper" for me.

Thanks for the comments on my pics, it nice to finally own a good digital camera :D . I am more into hostas, but this year I purchased over 50 different daylilies for some new gardens I'll be building this year. So there will be plenty more pics of lilies for the eyes to enjoy  . I'm very excited this year with so many new varieties of daylilies. I did buy some spiders like 'Spacemans Quest', 'Eyes of Lydia', and 'Firestorm'. I'm hoping to cross pollinate this year to see if I can come up with something new  . Keep the pics coming.....they make a grey cloudy day so much brighter 8-) .

It's not cloudy here; sunny and a bit cold in Minnesota (temps stayed below zero today).

Here is Avalon Anne, a new one for me this year. I tried posting 2 pics but somehow I don't see the second one.
